Vastu Study Room

Study room has equal importance like our living room. If you build study room as per vastu rules, it raises concentration power and stamina in the children. As a result they can make very good academic score. Vastu tips are needed for fortifying the children’s concentration and toughness as they can sit long hours without getting tired. Many children start study but they can’t complete the study with full concentration. Vastu will help them to gain the control over their mind. Lack of concentration is the main problem of a child and if you design the study room as per vastu, it will be the key of your children’s problem.

Northern eastern or western side of room is regarded as the ideal place for studying. Eastern side is also good. In early days, western side was viewed as the ideal place for study room, because this is the side which is ruled by Venus, Mercury and Jupiter. Jupiter provides very deep knowledge in a subject. Venus helps to increase the interest for learning and making him effective in that subject. And Mercury provides intelligence and the ability to understand anything quickly.

The study table should be 4-5 inches away from wall. Some open place is must in front of your children.

Rectangular or square shape study table is preferable. The study table must not be so big or so small. The study table must have a decent size.

There must not any beam above your children’s head when he is studying. Child should read facing towards the north or east. But southern western, northern, southern eastern, northern are not considered as a room for study. The doors of the study room must be at the northern, western, eastern or northern eastern corner.

If you keep a pyramid near the study table, it will balance the energy and raising the memory. An apparatus watch must be put at the northern wall of the study room. East side’s windows must be larger than the west’s. Light colour is better for learning. Green, pink, sky blue, creamy colour is perfect for study room. Don’t use black colour in the study room.

Books must be kept in the closet at the eastern, western or northern wall. A table lamp enhances child’s concentration power. Table lamp must be place at the southern eastern side of the study room. A water pot is auspicious in a study room.

Elders may sit and study at the southern western corner of the room. It is good for studying books or newspapers.

Eshan side is suitable for children. Don’t keep heavy things at the Eshan side. If you keep weight at the Eshan then study can’t go smoothly.

The door of the study room must be two shuttered. Light has a very important role in study. You must take care about the light in the study room as dim light is unfavourable for children’s education and concentration.
